APOLLOCONSULTING

STANDALONE ENGINE MANAGEMENT

A complete system.
A considered calibration.

Work with Keith Fields on standalone ECU tuning, initial setup and troubleshooting. From engine swaps to developed race cars, the process starts with the engine, sensors, wiring and the way you use the vehicle.

SELECT YOUR ECU

Support for your
engine-management platform.

Using a different system? Include the ECU model in your inquiry and Keith will confirm whether support is available.

From first start
to a refined setup.

Setup & startup

Review configuration, sensor scaling, trigger signals, injector data and timing requirements before meaningful calibration work begins.

Dyno calibration

Discuss fuel, ignition, boost, transient behavior and drivability development with an agreed plan for validation.

Remote troubleshooting

Use files, datalogs and available scope captures to investigate startup, sync, idle, boost or communication issues.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Bring the whole picture.

Start with your ECU model, engine package, injector and fuel-system information, sensor list and intended use. Tell Keith whether the vehicle runs, what problems you see and which parts have changed.

For an existing calibration, available logs and configuration files can help define the work. Remote review can identify useful next steps, while some electrical, mechanical and timing checks require someone physically at the vehicle.

Individual owners, builders and shops are welcome. Pricing, required data and any dyno arrangements are confirmed for the project.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before we get started.

Can a base map be used as a finished tune?

An initial configuration is a starting point that requires validation for the specific engine and hardware. Discuss the first-start and calibration process with Keith before running the engine under load.

Do I need to choose my ECU before contacting Keith?

No. Describe the engine, vehicle and intended use. You can discuss requirements and support availability before choosing equipment.

Can you help with a car another person has already tuned?

Describe the current setup and symptoms. Keith can assess whether a file review, diagnostics or a new calibration is the appropriate route, subject to available access and information.

Talk to a standalone ECU tuner

Looking for an Emtron tuner, Haltech tuning or Link ECU tuning? Keith can discuss your ECU setup, installed hardware and goals, from first-start support to dyno tuning. MoTeC and other engine-management projects are also welcome by inquiry.

Prepare your vehicle and ECU details for a productive first conversation.
